Jomo Kenyatta Foundation scholarships

The Jomo Kenyatta foundation issues scholarships to needy high school students in kenya at the beginning of every year.
The JKF Scholarship Programme is an educational fund set up by The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation (JKF) to assist bright but needy students in public secondary schools in Kenya. Started in 1968, the Programme has to date (2013) seen 9,573 students pursue secondary school education. In monetary terms, this translates to over Kshs. 400 million in the last four and a half decades. Currently, there are 1,175 beneficiaries on board.
